Antenna Process

Dale L Smith has been building 65-66 Corvette antenna’s for over 30 years. Having built over 4000 units, Dale has become the Ole Man of Corvette antenna’s.

Pictured are 4 matched antenna masks readied for the installation to the power units. Each mast are machined fitted for a precision fit.

The heart and soul of the motor is the armature. We pay extra attention to this part to ensure more power and smoother operating. Once cleaned, Dale's son, Zach Smith, polishes the shaft and then Mike’s it for correct fit.

Zach prechecks the fit to the motor housing. Although Zach doesn’t have 30 years of experience, when his Dad assembles the unit he will know if the kid did his job properly.
